Actors
OK. I get it. Lots of people dislike, even hate, other people. I have been known myself to even hate others. But I never stood in front of a court house advocating they be thrown in prison without a fair trial. That is unamerican. That is a threat to our system of justice. That id deplorable.
Lo and behold I turn on the TV and what do I see? An “Actor” ranting and raving in front of a court house. Even advocating the person on trial be automatically found guilty and thrown in prison.
Let’s be plain. Actors are pretenders. They pretend to be someone or something they are not. Like my grand kids when they were little. They ran around with towels for capes or little dresses or costumes. They were pretending to be someone or something they were not. And I loved it. I loved watching – and even playing with them. They were acting.
Now don’t get me wrong. I love a good movie. I love good acting. But casting my vote on what an actor says?
This raving actor has made millions. He is well known and famous. I don’t mind his having opinions or having made millions but dictating what a trial should find?
A little background: Bobby Milk never finished high school. His higher education consisted of acting schools. He never served his country in uniform or as an elected official. He has done nothing. But a Democrat gave him the Presidential Medal of Freedom – for being a great pretender and making millions (and donating to the Democrat Party).
Ok. I get it. Politics. But this knucklehead has no idea about what he is saying. His lack of knowledge is astounding. He displays a complete misunderstanding of our Constitution and our form of government. He is dumb.
We have a Republic based on elected officials. We have three branches of government – each with checks and balances. One guy or gal elected to the presidency cannot destroy us or the world. And the elected guy or gal cannot change the Constitution by themselves.
But this Actor just shot his mouth off like he knew something. I guess acting school teaches the Constitution.
Look, I don’t begrudge his having an opinion. Heaven knows (you’re not supposed to say God any more) I do. I just have grown tired of actors shooting off their mouths without knowing of what they speak. As a group, generally, they have contributed little except entertainment. Like my grand kids. So my advice to all of them: Stay in Hollywood (you’re the only ones that can afford to live there anyway). If asked, give your opinion – and make it based on knowledge and thought. If a Political Party seeks endorsements or a spokesperson – run. Vote. Don’t lecture me. Don’t attack my country. Don’t attack our system of justice.
But then again – I’m an old guy and I don’t get it…..
